Terms of Service

The service

Ranyx provides video calls that you join from your browser with a link, translation of your speech into the language chosen by the other person spoken in your voice copy, captions, and translated chat.

The service is in early access and provided "as is". Features, usage limits and the number of people who can join a call may change.

The service is currently free. If paid features are offered in the future, prices and terms will be announced in advance.

Account and age

To use the service you must be at least 18 years old and sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity carried out with it.

Voice copy

You may only record your own voice. Recording, uploading or copying anyone else's voice is prohibited.

Your voice copy is used only to speak translations of what you say in Ranyx calls. You may not record or distribute audio generated with your voice copy outside a call, or use it to mislead anyone, impersonate another person or for any unlawful purpose.

Calls

Everyone who joins a call has signed in to Ranyx and accepted these terms. Don't record or share other participants' video, voice or messages without their explicit permission.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service for illegal content, harassment, threats, fraud, unlawful processing of personal data, unsolicited bulk communication, or to compromise the security of or overload the system. Attempts to circumvent usage limits are also prohibited.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms and delete the related voice copies.

AI translation

Speech recognition, translation and speech generation are performed automatically by artificial intelligence; misrecognition, incomplete or incorrect translation and delays can occur. Don't rely on automatic translation alone in conversations that matter legally, medically, financially or for safety, and confirm important points in writing.

Content and rights

Your conversations, messages and voice belong to you; we process them only to provide the service. The rights to the Ranyx software, brand and design belong to the service provider.

Third-party services

The service relies on third-party services such as Google, Vercel, Neon, LiveKit, ElevenLabs and Anthropic. Outages of or changes to these services may affect Ranyx.

Liability

Except in cases of intent or gross negligence and where applicable law does not allow limitation, we are not liable for the service not operating without interruption or errors, for errors in automatic translation, or for indirect damages.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time with "Delete my account"; your voice copy is deleted as well.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İzmir have jurisdiction over disputes. The rights of consumers to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts under Law No. 6502 are reserved.

Changes, language and contact

We may update these terms; the current version and its update date are published on this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the current terms.

These terms were written in Turkish. Versions in other languages are translations; if they differ, the Turkish text prevails.
